Interlake Stamping: Your Stamp of Quality and Reliability
As a leading short run stamping manufacturer, Interlake Stamping believes in innovative technology along with Cost Effective Tooling (CET) and Statistical Process Control (SPC ) to ensure the finest quality in short to medium run metal stamping production quantities. We think you will appreciate this caliber of quality in today's economy.
Our short run metal stamping method can handle your stampings, fabrications and subassemblies regardless of shape or degree of complexity. We can save you up to 90 % on die costs alone.
We can also add to your savings with Just In Time (JIT) delivery, prototypes, and developmental work. That's because design modifications of conventional dies can be made quickly and inexpensively in small lot tools.
Interlake Stamping's process responds when dimensional repeatability is critical. It will also bring you a high standard of quality and reliability for economical runs of 100 to 100,000 pieces, flexibility in meeting deadlines, modifying existing products, designing new products and pre-production runs.
Consistent High Quality Utilizing Virtually Any Stampable Material
We handle a variety of materials such as cold rolled Steel, Stainless Steel, Spring Steel and Nickel-based Alloys, Copper and Copper Alloys, Aluminum and Phenolics. We can deliver stamped and drawn parts from these materials that comply with your specifications, using materials from .001 to .250 in thickness and draws as deep as 3 inches.
Both tooling and parts undergo rigid inspections throughout primary and secondary operations including deburring, tapping, plating, painting and assembly. We specialize in assemblies which include machined parts, pressed inserts, spot and heliarc welding, brazing and riveting. An added dimension that you'll appreciate is our Wire EDM which gives you the benefit of quick production, high quality, complex die segments from pre hardened materials with die tolerance to +/-.0002. This will ensure complete accuracy and exact duplication.
